The KAVU Buffaroni is a mid-weight brushed flannel shirt for guys who want one go-to button-up that works from the trailhead to the taco truck. It's heavy enough to throw on over a tee when the evening cools off, but not so beefy you'll overheat on a sunny fall afternoon. Now in Grey Skies for Fall 26.
Starting with FW25, KAVU makes the Buffaroni from certified organic cotton, and the faux horn buttons are 25% recycled polyester.
It's 6.5 oz flannel with a light brushed face, so it feels broken-in on day one. The stand collar hides a KAVU logo jacquard tape, and the back has a box pleat with a rope locker loop so you can hang it on a hook at camp instead of balling it up in the truck.
KAVU started in Seattle in 1993 when founder Barry Barr set out to make a better hat. Decades later they're still making fun, durable gear for people who'd rather be outside, with a motto that sums up the vibe: Get Busy Livin'.
