A radio that charges itself
A NOAA weather alert radio with 5 power sources: hand crank, solar panel, USB, AAA batteries or AC power. Plus a 3W flashlight, a fold-up reading lamp and an SOS alarm. The built-in 2000mAh battery doubles as a phone charger. 5.6 x 3.0 x 1.8 inches, 0.66 lb.
A dead phone and a silent radio are the two things you don't want during a blackout. This one refuses to go dark: crank it, set it in the sun, or plug it in, and it keeps talking, lighting and charging.
