A smaller pine sideboard on squat bun feet, with two short drawers over a pair of fielded-panel doors. The drawers pull on turned wooden knobs and are dovetailed at the corners, while each door carries a stamped metal escutcheon plate with a drop ring pull, one of them still holding its key. Open the doors and a single shelf runs the full width. The top has gone a warm honey with plenty of knots, and a moulded plinth wraps the base all the way round. Sized for a dining nook, a kitchen wall or an entry that needs storage without the bulk.
