"What started as a new caddis pupa to swing for trout keying on emergers turned into one of my best dead-drift patterns in streams everywhere.

Surprisingly, it also became my number one nymph for steelhead on northern California’s Trinity River, accounting for untold numbers of fish in the 5-12 pound category…the hook I tie it on is deceptively strong.

A must-have for both swinging and dead-drift nymphing, with a uniquely subtle flashy twist that fish love!"
