* Dr. Lynda Spelman, a leading dermatologist at the Queensland Institute of Dermatology (QIDerm), has conducted pivotal research demonstrating the benefits of superfine Merino wool for individuals with atopic dermatitis (eczema).

In a clinical trial involving 29 participants aged 6 to 25, Dr. Spelman assessed the effects of wearing superfine Merino wool base-layer garments directly against the skin over a 15-week period. The study revealed significant reductions in skin dryness, redness, itchiness, and inflammation, with no participants experiencing allergic or irritant reactions. 

These findings suggest that fine Merino wool garments can serve as a valuable adjunct therapy in managing atopic dermatitis.
