The outdoor Marimba from Percussion Play is large enough for up to four people to come together and play at any time, making it perfect for impromptu and improvised performances. Whether placed in a public park, school playground, woodland, or private garden, it offers a new and exciting way to explore music-making for all ages and abilities.

Featuring fifteen chunky notes supported by heavy-duty stainless steel cable, the note bars are made from Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) tuned to the diatonic scale of C-Major. When struck with the attached mallets, they produce a mellow, warm, and rich sound. The GRP note bars are crafted to replicate the look of Purple Heart hardwood while being extremely strong, robust, and virtually maintenance-free.

The contemporary stainless steel frame complements any outdoor setting, and this Surface Fix version is designed for secure direct mounting to a surface. The Marimba is accessible from both sides, supporting disabled access and ADA compliance, making it a truly inclusive instrument for everyone.
