Blueness is incredibly hard to photograph, so I'll try to explain what I see in front of my eyes, and then I encourage you to take a chance on it despite it probably not looking like the photos, because it's my favourite blue I've ever created...!

 

Blueness begins with an undersaturated indigo base, which I add a neon aqua to, to create a tonal that moves through different blues. It's kind of 'gritty' - a grown up blue that's a little bit moody, but still light too (the lighter parts aren't really showing up in the photo of the twisted skeins - they're a bit more visible in the laid out skein); it's super beautiful.
