Meet Hummingbird! A discontinued colourway from a few years ago, resurrected.

 

This yarn starts off with an all over 'dirty' tonal base of biscuity browny grey dyes, then I handpaint Saturised over the top which results in a really beautiful jewel toned neon colourway. This dyeing process produces an effect on the yarn which reminds me of dyeing on yak and alpaca fibre (any fibre which is more brown/grey in tone) - the colours you get are just beautifully different to a bright neon, with lots of depth.

It moves from pretty dirty neon pink, into orange, yellow, green, aqua blue, lavender, and purple. 

 

Will more than likely create beautiful colour pooling or micro-striping depending on the pattern you are making.

 

All of the neon dyes are UV reactive.
