Before Hawaii had deep-water docks, paniolo drove their cattle straight into the surf at places like Kailua-Kona and Kealakekua Bay. Specially trained swimming horses guided the herd out to ships waiting offshore, where each animal was hoisted aboard in a sling. This print tells that story, on a pocket tee in blue.
