‘Sakura’, the word for cherry blossom in Japanese, is derived from ‘Saku’, which means to bloom, or alternatively to smile or laugh.

We hope everything about our Saku Hand-tufted Rug will make you smile. Full of glorious, life-affirming pink blossom petals, gold cranes and exotic birds, her connection with nature is obvious and highlighted even further by her gorgeous, curved, petal shape. A bold, black frame grounds the delicate design and makes her particularly easy to place.

Full of powerful symbolism for a long and happy life, Saku is the perfect finishing touch to add tactile interest, sophisticated colour, and luxurious elegance to a room.
