It doesn't mask the smell — it removes the source. Earthworm® uses naturally occurring enzymes to digest the urea, salts, and organic residue in pet urine, so the odor is gone for good instead of covered up by perfume that fades in a day.

Stops the re-marking cycle. Breaks down that residue at the source, so pets stop returning to the same spot.
Fragrance-free — safe around cats, dogs & kids. No dyes, no harsh chemicals, no masking perfume. Safe for pets and children once the area has dried.
Works on carpet, upholstery, hardwood & litter boxes. One cleaner for porous and hard surfaces alike, anywhere accidents happen.
Made without harsh chemicals. No dyes, no synthetic fragrance, no quats, no phenols. Safer around the people and animals who live there.

How to Use on Different Surfaces

Carpet and Rugs

Blot up as much of the mess as you can first. Then spray Earthworm® generously — you want the formula to reach the full depth of the fibers, not just coat the surface. Let it sit 5 to 10 minutes. Blot from the outside of the stain inward with a clean cloth. Don't rub. For old, dried stains, soak the area thoroughly, lay a damp towel over it to slow evaporation, and give it at least 30 minutes. A second application often finishes the job on stains that have had time to set.

Hardwood Floors

Wipe up the accident first, then spray lightly. You don't want to soak wood. A quick spray, a 3-minute wait, and a clean cloth wipe is the right approach here. The enzymes still break down any residue that soaked into the grain without flooding the floor.

Upholstery and Furniture

Test an inconspicuous spot on new or delicate fabric first. On most colorfast upholstery, spray directly, wait 5 minutes, and blot dry. For cushions where the odor has penetrated deeply, you may need to treat the underside of the fabric as well.

Mattress

Strip the bedding. Spray the affected area well. The mattress foam holds liquid, so apply enough to reach the source of the odor. Put a dry towel over the treated spot and press down. Let air dry completely before replacing the bedding. Open a window if you can — faster drying helps.

Why Enzymes Beat Chemical Cleaners

Here's the actual science behind why regular cleaners fail on pet urine. As it dries, urine leaves behind salts and organic residue that bond to surfaces. Water doesn't dissolve them. Soap doesn't break them down. Spray a chemical cleaner on a cat urine stain and you'll clean the surface — but that residue stays put, trapped in the carpet fibers or wood grain beneath.

That's why the smell keeps coming back. Warm humidity, a steamer, a wet day — any of those reactivate the crystals and the odor resurfaces.

Enzymes are the only thing that actually breaks that residue down at the molecular level. Bacterial enzymes like protease and urease digest the urea and organic waste into compounds that dissolve in water and can be blotted or rinsed away. The residue doesn't come back because it's gone. That's it. Read more about how enzyme pet cleaners actually work if you want the full breakdown.

If you've ever scrubbed a stain until it looked gone, waited a week, and then smelled it again on a humid afternoon, that's the hardened residue problem. Chemical cleaners weren't built to solve it. Enzymes were.

Works With All Pet Types

Designed for dogs and cats, but the enzyme formula doesn't stop there. Rabbit urine, bird droppings, small animal waste, reptile messes — all organic. All broken down by the same uricase and protease enzymes in Earthworm®. If your household includes a parrot, a guinea pig, or a bearded dragon with occasional free-roaming privileges, this is still the right cleaner for you.

Same product. Same formula. Whatever made the mess.
