Late Qing dynasty elm sideboard from eastern China, circa 1900. Hand-crafted using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, featuring Three panelled doors with original iron hardware. Solid elm construction with natural blonde patina and visible grain.
Designed for formal dining or ritual spaces, combining practical storage—drawers for small items, doors for tableware and linens. Unfinished wood with no lacquer or paint; patina shows age-appropriate cracking and warm tonal variation.
