Inspired by kinetic sculpture and classical maritime lighting, the Calder Alabaster Sconce cradles a solid, hand-carved Spanish alabaster sphere within a rounded brass collar cage. Mounted atop a vertical stem and anchored to a stadium-shaped backplate by twin horizontal posts, the open metal armature creates a lightweight structural balance against the heavy natural stone. Illuminated from within, the translucent alabaster sphere casts a warm, ambient glow that illuminates rich mineral veining, adding modern architectural depth to corridors, bath vanities, and living spaces.
