This version of the Astra keeps the original's jewel-in-a-halo idea and gives it a softer, more natural feel. A sphere of real alabaster hangs at the center of a wide brass ring, and in place of crystal sparkle, it gives a warm glow from within. The ring has a brushed finish, with a band of fine knurled texture along its inner edge that catches the light up close. Every stone has its own cloudy white body and taupe veining, so no two pendants look exactly alike. Hang it over a dining table, in an entryway, or in a walk-in closet.
