Most runners keep their medals in a box. Not out of indifference — there was simply never a proper place for them. The first 5K, the first half, the race in the rain you nearly turned back from: all in the same box, none of it visible.
The moment people buy a medal hanger is rarely after their first race. It's the moment the collection outgrew the space they'd given it.
| Width | 1 rail | 2 rails | 3 rails |
|---|---|---|---|
| 35 × 8 cm | 8–12 | 15–22 | 20–30 |
| 45 × 8 cm | 13–20 | 24–36 | 34–50 |
| 60 × 11 cm | 21–30 | 38–55 | 55–75 |
| 75 × 11.5 cm | 31–45 | 55–80 | 75–110 |
Guide figures for medals on standard 25 mm ribbons. Hang them closer and you'll fit more.
Count the medals already in the box and add two years' worth. Most people buy too small. Between two widths, take the larger one — or the smaller one with an extra rail.
Wall spacers, screws, plugs and a drilling template are included. The hanger stands off the wall, so ribbons slip over easily and the piece looks like it floats. Two holes, ten minutes.
It will fill up. The dimensions haven't changed in years — a second hanger of the same width sits flush against the first, even if there are years between them. Many customers end up with a wall rather than a single piece.
