The Defender™ Rod & Paddle Leash • Vibe Kayaks

You deserve to keep the gear you worked hard to buy!

What do rods & reels, paddles, and even action cameras have in common? They cost money. And, often times, lots of it. Don’t take a chance on losing gear that you’ve invested so much time and money into the bottom of a river! With the Defender™, you can set the hook without worrying about your paddle falling off your lap. Or adjust your action camera to get the perfect shot without fear of dropping it in the lake. Or remove the anxiety as you reach for that rod behind you.

Other companies require you to attach their leashes every time you get on and off the water. With the Defender™, simply leave the quick detach strap on your rod or paddle when you’re done and you’re ready for the next time you go out - saving you time at the ramp setting up and tearing down. We provide the tools you need to remove chaos & frustration so you can thrive on the water.
