The Activist — Ottmar Hörl's Middle Finger Gnome
The Yellow Ottmar Hörl Activist Gnome, officially Sponti, gives the traditional garden gnome an irreverent new attitude. With its raised middle finger, this collectible sculpture can be displayed indoors or outdoors, on its own or grouped with other colors.

The Story Behind the Gnome
In 1994, Hörl placed 1,000 blue garden gnomes throughout Seligenstadt, Germany. They appeared in unexpected places and gradually disappeared as people took them elsewhere. That movement was part of the artwork: each gnome found a new setting. The project, Rolling Change, was reissued in 2006.
