The height is yours to pick. On a single SmartBin the surface sits low, about right for camp or beach chairs. Stack two bins and it comes up to standard table height, the kind you stand around. Same Tabletop, two different tables.

When you're done, it folds and stores inside the SmartBin it was sitting on, so it becomes one less thing to stow.
