A little sea turtle gliding across the ceiling brings a slow, calm kind of wonder into a child's room. The Baby Sea Turtle Pendant Light is the smaller size in our sea turtle pair, sized for a crib corner, a nursery, or a cozy reading nook, its faceted shell and outstretched fins caught mid-drift.

What makes it special

It arrives fully assembled and ready to hang, with nothing to put together. Each turtle is handcrafted from washable paper fabric and folded entirely without glue, so its faceted shell holds a crisp, architectural form. Lit from within, the lamp itself glows softly and the fine cutouts sparkle across the shell. A considered, sculptural centerpiece scaled for smaller spaces, still full of ocean life.

Good to know

• Dimensions: 45 x 40 x 20 cm.
• Ready to hang: arrives fully assembled, no crafting or gluing required.
• Material: washable paper fabric, a tear-resistant, vegan, paper-like fabric that keeps its shape and will not crease, tear, or sag the way ordinary paper does, and wipes clean under water.
• Handcrafted without glue: assembled entirely without glue or adhesive, held together by interlocking tabs.
• Handcrafted design: an original, 100% human-designed piece, with no AI at any step of the design.
• Lighting: the lamp clips onto any standard E27, E26 or E14 fitting in two clicks, no tools needed. An optional cord set is available with the socket, an inline switch, an EU plug, a ceiling hook and a wall plug, so it hangs where you want it and the cable runs to the nearest wall socket. LED bulbs only, bulb not included. It cannot sit flush to the ceiling: allow at least 20 cm of cord below it.

Whether it hangs on its own over a crib or beside the full-size turtle as a pair, the Baby Sea Turtle Pendant Light is a charming statement piece and a thoughtful gift for a nursery. A turtle with a hatchling above her shell, drawn in one unbroken line, is October in Before the Fold, part of the 2027 wall calendar collection.
