Control reflections on shiny products

Use the Light Cone around a small reflective subject, then light the diffusion material from outside. Adjust the light position and camera angle to shape highlights on jewelry, polished metal and other shiny objects. The cone assembles with snap closures and collapses for storage.

Which model should I choose?

The Phone model has a 1.5-inch camera opening designed for smartphone photography. A larger camera lens needs a different model. Leave space around your subject for the camera view and lighting; the base diameter is not a guaranteed maximum product size.

Is the Light Cone a light source?

No. It diffuses light from an external source. The placement and size of that source affect the final highlights and shadows.

Will it eliminate every reflection?

Its purpose is to control unwanted reflections and shape smoother highlights. Results depend on the object's shape, lighting and camera position; reflective objects still need visible highlights to show their form.
