To mark the release of Ursula: Issue 14, which explores how environments—both natural and built—influence artistic vision, we're introducing a new bundle that invites readers deeper into the theme of "Places and Spaces". From public gardens to ancient cities to landscapes shaped by sound, this issue considers how place informs perception and creativity.

At its center is a first look at Calder Gardens, a new cultural landmark opening in Philadelphia in September 2025. Conceived as a permanent home for the work of Alexander Calder, this extraordinary site blends art, architecture, and landscape through the collaboration of architect Jacques Herzog, garden designer Piet Oudolf, and the Calder Foundation.
