An extreme cold weather combat boot delivering waterproof protection, insulation, and stability for patrols and mountain operations in snow and ice.
The Salomon QUEST CW FORCES WP EN is purpose-built for extreme cold weather operations where insulation, traction, and long-term support are critical. Designed for snowy urban patrols and demanding mountain missions, this combat boot combines Salomon’s stability platform with cold-weather protection engineered for extended exposure.
A waterproof Advanced Dry membrane keeps moisture out in wet snow and slush, while Advanced Warm insulation helps maintain warmth across a wide activity range. The boot is rated for low activity use around 19°F and high activity use down to approximately -4°F, making it suitable for static and mobile missions alike.
Underfoot, the Winter Contagrip® outsole provides dependable traction on snow and cold surfaces, paired with a dual-density EnergyCell midsole for cushioning and shock absorption. The integrated 4D Advanced Chassis™ enhances stability and control on uneven terrain, especially under load.
The upper is constructed from anti-abrasion softshell and PU-coated leather with non-reflective finishes. Protective elements include a reinforced toecap, mudguard, and rearfoot snowshoe clip. A gusseted tongue, SensiFit™ construction, and closed hooks improve fit security and debris protection. Built to meet professional standards, the QUEST CW FORCES WP EN is a reliable solution for cold-weather tactical operations.
