Unleash Creative Potential on Heavyweight Japanese Paper

The MD Notebook Thick A5 represents the pinnacle of Japanese paper craftsmanship, engineered specifically for those who demand more from their writing surface. Built around double-weight 141 gsm MD Paper, this volume accommodates dense fountain pen ink, bold marker strokes, and light paint washes without compromise. It maintains the legendary smoothness of standard MD Paper while providing exceptional opacity and structural integrity.

Flawless Lay-Flat Codex Binding

Engineered with exposed thread-stitched codex binding, the notebook rests perfectly flat from the first page to the last. Eliminating spine resistance allows fluid movements across the entire surface, making expansive sketching or double-page planning effortless. The absence of heavy outer covers keeps the profile sleek, minimal, and inviting to handle.

Unrestricted Space for Pure Expression

The clean, unlined layout provides an open canvas for unrestricted thought. Whether recording daily reflections, rendering detailed architectural sketches, or experimenting with wet media, the plain paper adapts seamlessly to every creative pursuit. Included index stickers allow clear labelling and organised archiving once all 96 pages are filled.

Exceptional Craftsmanship for Daily Use

Crafted in Japan with meticulous attention to detail, every aspect of the notebook prioritises tactile comfort and longevity. The natural off-white paper shade reduces eyestrain during prolonged writing sessions, offering an ideal backcloth for contrasting inks and vibrant media.
