Artist Karen Didion catches Santa in a rare moment of rest in this good-humored holiday figurine. Perched atop a rustic wooden barrel wrapped in pine garland, he raises a frothy mug of beer in one hand and holds a salted pretzel in the other. He’s dressed for a cozy night off in red velvet trousers trimmed in white faux fur, a red-and-black plaid flannel shirt, and a green vest, finished with round spectacles and a full white beard. Right at home in a lodge-style setting, a bar cart display, or alongside a whimsical Christmas collection, he brings laid-back cheer to the season.
