Photographed in 2001 by Chris Floyd, this portrait captures Anthony Bourdain outside Bistro Les Halles on Park Avenue South in New York City, where he worked as executive chef while building a reputation as one of food's most candid voices. The photograph dates to the period shortly after Kitchen Confidential brought Bourdain's kitchen stories to a much wider audience, before his career expanded into a global exploration of food and culture. Published as a made-to-order framed print, it pairs a moment from Bourdain's early public life with archival-quality printing and hand-built framing.
