Building on the success of aNueNue's classic Blue Moon design, the 330 Series takes it further with a unique high-temperature, oxygen-free kiln baking process that accelerates the wood's aging. This "torrefaction" process significantly reduces the oils and resins that normally take years to diminish, resulting in a lighter, more resonant instrument with a warmly sweet, richly woody tone.
The torrefied Swiss Moon Spruce top takes on a slightly darker hue - a sense of well-worn elegance - while remaining stable across fluctuating climates. Paired with solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, the tone is rounded and full through the mids with superb projection and balance. The 330 series uses heavier, harder, denser South American mahogany for the neck, which excels in the high-frequency range and resonates sweetly with the acoustic body.
Blue purfling accents add a low-key but captivating detail against the Bird body shape aNueNue is known for.
Comes with a Blue Hardshell Case.
