Thumbsucker is a soft, powdery floral fragrance built around violet and narcissus, given an unusual richness by honey, bitter almond and cherry.
The floral heart is gentle rather than overtly sweet, while almond adds a slightly dry, nutty contrast. Himalayan cedar, styrax balsam and beeswax bring warmth and texture underneath, leaving a distinctive soft, waxy finish.
The fragrance takes its inspiration from an ancient Indian story of King Yuvanaswa, who accidentally drank a magical fertility potion intended for his queen and subsequently gave birth to a son. Unable to feed the child, the god Indra cut his own thumb and allowed the baby to drink the life-giving nectar within.
