Mistpouffer is an atmospheric green and smoky fragrance built around pine, fig leaf and vetiver, softened by the unusual sweetness of immortelle and malt sugar.

It opens bright and slightly honeyed before moving into cool green foliage, pine and an ozonic freshness. Smoke, earthy cypriol and vetiver emerge underneath, balanced by a subtle burnt-sugar sweetness that keeps the woods from becoming too dry or severe.

The fragrance inspiration is the mistpouffer - a mysterious booming sound reported over lakes and rivers around the world, with no agreed explanation for its source. Stora Skuggan spent almost four years developing the fragrance, aiming for something foggy without being aquatic and smoky without becoming heavy.

The result is unusual but surprisingly wearable: green, woody, airy and sweet, with smoke running quietly through the composition.
