Mixed Media Mosaic using repurposed china, glass, pearls and granny Helen's doilies.

There is so much history buried in this rose and it's colourful mix of vintage china. The grout lines (and pearls!) became vital to its’ formation and hint at a past, somewhat like the wrinkles in a beautiful old face. A collection of granny’s home crocheted doilies, provides the perfect background and represent a busy intricate life.

Base is 24"x24"x1.5"wood panel.
