Before 2014, we used this screw to secure our iSUP fins. It provides superior stability to our common hook + pin fin setup, which uses a plastic pin tethered to the fin base with a string. However, the screws can become rusted over time, making them difficult to remove. In contrast, the plastic pins are tethered to the fin to prevent loss and do not rust. Choose the fin fastening method that best suits your needs.
