Overview

The Touchstone Fireplug™ Insert Smart Electric Fireplace is a freestanding firebox designed to fit into existing traditional fireplace openings. Its unique design allows for a seamless transformation from a wood or gas log fireplace to electric, turning any existing hearth into an unforgettable accent wall that blends modern technology with classic charm.

The Fireplug™ Insert features a slim, low-profile design with enhanced, industry-leading flame technology. It combines smart-home integration with a realistic flame display and includes a deeper viewing area, high-end crystals, driftwood and a built-in crackle speaker with adjustable volume. Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, it offers extensive customization with 6 flame colors, 13 ember bed colors, 5 flame speeds and 13-color down-lighting — creating a total of 78 color combinations.

Using the thermostat on high or low settings, the Fireplug™ delivers supplemental heat to help take the chill out of drafty rooms. As an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional wood-burning fireplaces, it provides a clean, odorless ambiance. The unit can be wall-mounted or recessed and allows items to be mounted above the fireplace, with a recommended 8-inch clearance.
