Pure Pop.
A5 Infrared is one of Toroline’s premium co-poly constructions — engineered for players who demand precision, stability, and explosive spin from a clean round profile. Built on the foundation of A5 Carbon 1.25, this thinner 1.20mm variation delivers added pop, enhanced responsiveness, and a livelier feel at contact.
Engineered with a refined polymer blend and tuned for modern swing speeds, A5 Infrared delivers exceptional snapback, excellent tension stability, and a pure, connected response at contact.
What problem does A5 Infrared solve?
Spin potential is driven by two key factors:
- Ball grip
- Snapback
Round strings typically generate less ball grip due to their smooth geometry. To achieve exceptional spin performance, snapback must operate at a high level — compensating for reduced ball bite and allowing the string to generate heavy rotation.
While A5 Infrared doesn't rely on sharp edges or aggressive shaping for ball bite, its slick, low-friction surface promotes efficient string movement and snapback, helping players generate spin through string movement and rapid return.
The thinner 1.20mm gauge adds an extra dimension of power and responsiveness compared to A5 Carbon 1.25, providing easier access to depth and a livelier response without sacrificing the controlled characteristics of the A5 family.
Its symmetrical round construction also produces a consistent, predictable launch angle, giving players the confidence to swing aggressively while maintaining trajectory control and repeatable ball flight.
The result is a string that combines the precision, stability, and snapback of A5 Carbon with added pop and responsiveness — ideal for players seeking a controlled yet lively round co-poly with excellent spin potential.
