Meet Truffle X, our breakthrough ultra-soft tennis string engineered from a high performance polymer — not polyester.
Designed for players seeking exceptional comfort, elasticity, and ball pocketing, Truffle X delivers a plush, responsive feel with easy power and excellent dwell time. Its highly elastic construction gives it a uniquely soft response while maintaining greater durability than many traditional multifilaments.
Where multifilaments can fray, shred, and lose playability over time, Truffle X is designed to provide a more durable, modern alternative without sacrificing comfort or feel.
Truffle X features an exceptionally low static stiffness of 0.20 kg/mm, making it one of the softest strings in our lineup.

Due to its highly elastic construction, Truffle X stretches under tension and plays thinner than its untensioned diameter may suggest.

Hybrid Use
Truffle X is designed primarily as a cross string and pairs especially well with a slick co-poly main such as O-TORO. This combination blends the spin and snapback of a co-poly main with the plush feel, pocketing, and added comfort of Truffle X.
Tension
Tension is personal to each player, but we recommend stringing Truffle X similarly to how you would string natural gut or a multifilament.
Our team has found 50–55 lbs with 5–10% pre-stretch to be an excellent starting point.
Package
Each package includes two half sets, approximately 6.7M each — enough to string one tennis racquet.

Truffle X is made from an extremely soft and elastic material. Extra care should be taken during installation.
- Do not exceed 35 lbs of force when tying off knots
- Tie knots gently and avoid excessive pulling or pinching of the string
