Designed by Marie Michielssen for Belgian design house Serax, the Caro Side Table is a sculptural piece that blurs the line between art and function. Crafted in glazed ceramic with a deep, dark green finish, it brings richness and quiet intensity to any interior.

Its distinctive silhouette, gently flared at the base and softened through the centre, draws subtle reference to the poetic forms of chess pieces - small in scale yet strong in presence. The glossy glaze enhances its tactile surface, catching light and revealing the artisanal character of the material. Whether used as a side table or occasional stool, Caro’s bold form and refined finish make it a striking addition to contemporary or eclectic spaces.
