Sourced in France, this vintage woven wire basket features intricate metalwork, a softly scalloped rim and a raised circular base.

Traditionally used for serving bread or displaying fruit, baskets of this style bring together everyday function and decorative craftsmanship. The open weave gives the piece a light, airy quality, while its shallow, footed form makes it equally suited to a dining table or kitchen countertop.

A charming vintage find, with the natural patina and character of age.
