A hand-built ceramic vessel by Sydney-based ceramicist Kelly Brown, with a generous rounded body, narrow neck and two irregular, looping handles.

Deep maroon swirls move across a dusty rose and terracotta glaze, with dark speckling and subtle variations in the surface. The glossy finish catches the light across the raised markings, revealing the texture of the clay beneath.

Its earthy colour and sculptural form bring warmth and individuality to a collection of ceramics and treasured objects.
