During one of our expeditions to Finnish Lapland, we met a couple of tourists who were on a quest to spot the elusive polar bear. Despite their best efforts, they had yet to see one.
Of course, we didn't want to disappoint them, despite knowing that there are no polar bears in Finland. Instead, with a serious expression, we explained that there are indeed polar bears in Finland, but they may be difficult to spot during the summer months. Apparently, the bears enjoy sunbathing so much that they turn completely brown by mid-summer.
We recommended that they come back in the wintertime when there wouldn't be any brown bears wandering around in the Finnish nature.
In the meantime, we suggest to channel the spirit of the polar bears by wearing the Not a Polar Bear watch, boasting a sleek white dial, silver case, and mesh band. It's the perfect accessory for any adventure, just like the real deal.
