The Warp Factor™ is a 2-layer shell anorak designed for snowboarders and skiers who tend to run warm, prefer to layer strategically, or live for late-season corn runs. Lightweight and packable in spirit, it prioritizes breathable waterproof protection and freedom of movement over bulk — a true shell built around how progressive riders actually ride.

At its core, the DrySpell™ 2-layer waterproof fabric delivers breathable weather protection with a ripstop construction that feels surprisingly supple and quiet on the body — far from the stiff, crinkly shells of the past. A mapped hung lining balances warmth and breathability where it counts, while a progressive fit with dropped underarm placement gives you full range of motion whether you're tweaking grabs, laying into carves, or bootpacking a ridge. Venting is handled by underarm zip vents with mesh backing, and weather sealing comes from a water-resistant half-length front zipper with a draft flap and chin guard. Storage is well covered: a zippered chest pocket, two brushed hand pockets, a kangaroo-style front pocket, a sleeve pass pocket, and two internal mesh drop pockets. Internal stretch cuffs with thumb loops, adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs, and dual hem adjusters seal out the cold at every opening. An integrated RECCO® reflector adds a meaningful safety layer in the backcountry.

Who it's for

If you overheat in a traditional insulated jacket or you're someone who fine-tunes their layering system based on conditions, the Warp Factor™ was built with you in mind. It's especially well-suited to spring riders chasing softening snow, touring laps where output varies, or resort days when you want a versatile shell that won't slow you down. The RECCO® integration makes it a smart choice for anyone venturing beyond the resort boundary.

FAQ

  • Is this jacket warm enough on its own? The Warp Factor™ is a shell — it's designed to be worn over a midlayer. Its mapped lining adds light temperature management, but your warmth level depends on what you layer underneath.
  • Is the hood compatible with a helmet? Yes, the helmet-compatible hood features a three-way drawcord adjustment system so it fits properly over your helmet without gaps or bunching.
