Up until now, mass-produced bra pads have been made with high levels of two toxic chemicals: TDI and MDI- both known to cause cancer and lung disease, which stay present in the cups for up to four years. In Common’s bra pads contain ZERO TDI and MDI- a development that has been in the making since 2018. The metal on the bra is recycled metal.
