22KW Whole Home Backup Generator by Generac.

Single-handedly our most purchased unit, and most popular in the United States the 22 kW Guardian® Series by Generac home standby backup generator (7043 (with switch) & 7042 (without switch)) is the largest air-cooled home standby generator on the market. Not only does it deliver all the features and functionality customers have come to expect from the market-leading brand of home standby generators, but with an MSRP that is the lowest cost per kilowatt of any air-cooled home standby generator. Provides whole-house coverage for many homes.

True Power™ Technology -- Delivers best-in-class power quality with less than 5 percent total harmonic distortion for clean, smooth operation of sensitive electronics and appliances.
Allows you to monitor the status of your generator from anywhere in the world with your mobile devices or PC. Easily access information: current operating status & maintenance alerts.
24/7/365 Customer Support Team, every day from Generac headquarters in Wisconsin USA
Up to whole house backup protection with the 200-amp, NEMA 3R (aluminum outdoor enclosure) smart switch. RhinoCoat™ powder-coated finish helps make corrosion-resistant aluminum perfect for all weather conditions.
A multilingual LCD display that allows users to monitor battery status & track maintenance intervals.

* PLEASE NOTE - a 200AMP Smart Transfer Switch is required with this unit and that is an additional cost. The price above is just for the generator. The 7043 comes with the switch, and 7042 is without the transfer switch.

* The average time for shipping is at least 2 to 4 weeks if we do not have them in stock at the warehouse. Orders are fulfilled on a purchase order date & payment basis. If two customers order on the same date, and time, but one pays cash immediately, they get it first. If you want the generator shipped quicker there is an expedited fee of $400.

* We also recommend the Smart Management Module with a generator purchase/install.

These are the MOST sought-after home standby units on the market and thus they are in high demand, Generac can barely keep up with the production so everyone has to wait until they built & shipped from the production plant. If you order AFTER a hurricane has hit anywhere in the US, expect even longer wait times so we suggest ordering and installing before hurricane season.
