All seam allowances are 1cm unless otherwise stated.

Skill level : intermediate.

Fabric suggestions : Oilskin, Dry Oilskin, Mid-weight cotton canvas, 8 - 13oz denim, 5 - 10oz linen. For lining Merchant & Mills suggests a voile, calico or barrier lining.

Additional Supplies :

• Matching thread.
• 15cm interfacing (optional).

Self - narrow brim 

• 80cm wide, with or without nap 0.5M
• 100 - 150cm wide, with or without nap 0.35M

Self - wide brim

• 80cm wide, with or without nap 0.7M
• 100 - 150cm wide, with or without nap 0.5M

Lining 

• 80cm wide, with or without nap 0.3M
• 100 - 150cm wide, with or without nap 0.25M
