A bone-shaped dog tag in brushed navy blue, deep laser-engraved to order in our Surrey workshop. The traditional bone silhouette in a colour you can find at a glance - name on the front, five lines of ID and contact details on the back.
2mm-thick stainless steel under the navy finish, with the details lasered deep into the metal rather than printed or painted on. Nothing to peel, nothing to fade - through river swims, beach runs and wet winters. Waterproof, rust-resistant, and at 5-8g light enough for every day of a dog's life.
Two stainless steel split rings included - small for the tag, large for the D-ring. Use both and it hangs flat.
Three lines on the front; five lines on the back. Add one of 28 symbols beneath the text. Try HUGO with a paw print - the preview shows the tag as you type. 10 font styles from modern to classic. The bone shape gives the name room to breathe - it is the layout dogs' names were made for.
Buy 2 tags, save 15% - 3 or more saves 25%.
In public your dog should wear the owner's name and address on the tag. A phone number is not required by law, but it is the first thing that gets a lost dog home - add a mobile. Name or symbol front; surname, house number, street, postcode and phone back.
Engraved and checked by our small UK team - no drop-shipping, no shortcuts. Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 200+ owners. Bailey the cockapoo checks in on every batch, usually from his bed. A question before you order? You will reach the person who makes the tags - we are dog owners too.
A damp-cloth wipe after dirty walks keeps it smart. Avoid bleach and scouring pads; swap any split ring that starts to open.
How blue is the finish? A deep brushed navy - understated on the collar rather than bright.
Which bone size? Small (30 x 18mm) for cats, kittens and the toy breeds; Medium (40 x 21mm) suits most dogs from puppy to adult; Large (50 x 29mm) is proportioned for the bigger breeds.
Will the engraving fade? No - it is cut into the steel itself, with no printed layer to wear away.
Will it suit a puppy? Yes - the Small weighs 5g for the smallest of them, and the Medium at 6g grows with them; most puppies keep the same tag into adulthood.
