The Gora Fire Whip is a high-impact fire performance prop designed to create massive visual flame trails and powerful sonic crack effects. Built from braided Kevlar ropes that taper along the length of the whip, it delivers smooth energy transfer and explosive cracking performance.
When cracked, the whip creates a sharp sonic boom while producing dramatic fire movement through the air—making it one of the most intense and attention-grabbing fire props available.
Designed for experienced performers, this whip is ideal for stage use, finales, and high-energy routines where both sound and fire combine for maximum impact.
WICK LENGTH & CRACKER LENGTH
The total length of the whip including handle, wick, and cracker is 94in.
Gora's usage recommendations:
- Don't practice with the Fire Whip. The dry cracking makes the kevlar tired and will reduce the lifetime.
- You don't need to fill up the root of the whip, there will be a huge fire anyway. It would just make your hand hurt and would damage the heat shield. Also it can look silly when you still have a little burning part at the root while the rest of whip is burned off.
- Don't dip the fall, it will reduce the lifetime but give no bigger effect.
-
Don't put down the whip while it is burning. If you put it on a concrete or stone or metal surface the flames will heat up the surface and damage the kevlar.
-
Always check the condition of the whip very carefully before you light up. If there is a serious damage on the whip it can fly off from a crackling and injure the audience.
- Never hit the ground with the Fire Whip!!
FAQs
What makes a fire whip different from other fire props?
A fire whip creates both a flame trail and a loud sonic crack, combining visual and audio impact in one prop.
Is this beginner-friendly?
No, fire whips are designed for experienced performers and require strong control and safety awareness.
Why does it make a cracking sound?
The tip of the whip moves faster than the speed of sound, creating a sonic crack effect during use.
