Red Acre cabbage produces compact, deep crimson heads with excellent storage potential and rich flavor. This heirloom variety reaches maturity in 70-80 days, offering reliable yields in both spring and fall plantings. The dense heads store exceptionally well in cool conditions, making it perfect for preserving and winter use. Red Acre prefers full sun, fertile soil, and consistent watering to develop uniform, flavorful heads. Its disease resistance and adaptability to various climates make it a trusted choice for serious gardeners. Harvest when heads feel firm to the touch for peak quality and longevity.
