Text-Evidence Peepers

ISBN: SM247

When teaching about text evidence, utilize the Peepers to help students understand that evidence comes from literal details found in the text. Emphasize that support for an answer/inference is not based on personal connections or background knowledge ABOUT the text, but, rather on using details found IN the text. It’s necessary for students to “put eyeballs on the evidence” using the Text-Evidence Peepers.

Colors vary. Fits most hand sizes.
