"The base of the Grand Canyon is a place very few people spend time in, much less have to opportunity to watch a sunset from; surrounded by the steep canyon walls, listening to the rushing Colorado river nearby, and knowing a cascade of stars is soon to arrive. One of the most memorable nights of my life was hanging out of my tent at three in the morning in the Grand Canyon, watching endless shooting stars and gazing upon the Milky Way, more distinct than I've ever seen."
