Only Legionnaires who stand out from the rest are chosen to serve as Bulwarks. Their task is simple and unforgiving: hold the line, eyes fixed straight ahead, and meet whatever comes at them head on.

They keep their position with complete faith that the enemy's own momentum will do the work for them, carrying the charge onto their ranseur pole-arms until the blades sink deep. It is a steady, grim kind of courage, and the soldiers fighting beside them value it highly, knowing their lives would be a great deal shorter without the Bulwarks in front. Add them to your Warcrow force to give it a front line that holds firm.
