One battery keeps the time. Two more wait for the dark.
The Dezert is one of ELZ's most distinctive early electric constructions. Its quartz movement runs independently from a concealed battery, while a separate patented in-house module uses two visible batteries dedicated to the LED light system.
When the first light battery is depleted, a small red indicator comes on. A simple turn of the selector on the bezel with a screwdriver switches the module to the reserve battery. No charging cable. No app. Just a deliberately physical gesture that makes electricity part of the watch.
You don't just see the energy. You switch it.
