The hawthorn has been growing in hedgerows for ten thousand years and has developed no opinions about trends in that time, which turns out to be the correct approach. The Oatmeal Hawthorn is a ceramic wall flower, 3.5 inches across, one screw, no water. Oatmeal is the color of rooms that made a decision about warmth and have not revisited it. The hawthorn form arrived at the Japan Collection already finished, which is what ten thousand years in a hedgerow produces. It has no further revisions to offer. It was done before it arrived.
