Classic home decor doesn't have to mean bright, and Ceramic Flower Lettuce Grey XL 5 makes the case for a quieter palette instead. It's the most subdued entry in the studio's lettuce color study, one shape produced across ten colors and three sizes purely so the team could compare hues side by side under real light. Muted and a little moody, it reads as vintage wall decor for anyone assembling a winter arrangement rather than a summer one. Shaped by hand at Chive Ceramics Studio, every XL leaf keeps its own uneven ripple from the mold. A single hook holds it permanently, so there's no drainage tray and no seasonal upkeep to think about afterward. It also works as a gift for a dental hygienist who mentioned wanting something calmer for the office. Chive pieces have shown up in the gift shop at the Philadelphia Museum of Art before, this grey lettuce among the studio's more understated entries. Grey, it turns out, has fans too.
